This ring was purchased in Colombia in 1990. The 14k yellow gold setting was custon made for this stone. The 4.5 carat stone measures 12 x 10 mm in a facetted oval cut. The color is medium grass green, translucent, with the usual inclusions seen in Emeralds. The ring is impressive and looks great on the hand.
